Evening Steak Course – Friday 25th August 2017, 6.30pm
If you shy away from cooking a great steak in the comfort of your own kitchen and prefer to leave it to the professionals, then this evening course is made for you!
To start this fun packed evening off you will be taken on a quick tour of our beef farm by resident farmer, John Vickers. Here we will explain where the different cuts come from and talk through how, where, when and why to buy only the best of British Beef.
You will then be brought into the comfort of the cookery school where you will be served tea or coffee and have a tutorial, discussing and tasting different cuts of steak and how to make sure that they remain tasty, succulent and tender.
After, you will cook your own steak to perfection, along with the perfect partners; béarnaise, peppercorn sauce, tomato chutney and delicious crispy chips to accompany. To complete the experience, you’ll be enjoying your perfectly cooked steak paired with a pint or two of one of our local ales and also a delicious dessert. Indeed, we have teamed up with The Langton Brewery to provide you with a choice of one of their three new ales, Sigma Gold, Infinity IPA or Delta Rye to finish.
