Baking and Patisserie Cookery Course

During the morning, we will focus on the pleasures of home baking with a mouth-watering selection of treats. You will create a delightful array of cakes and biscuits to take home that the whole family will enjoy.

Example of dishes that may be included on the course are:

  • Chocolate Espresso Cake
  • Zesty Lemon Curd Sponge Cake
  • Special Scones
  • Cranberry, Orange and Pecan Muffins
  • Eclairs
  • Fruit Tartlets
  • Glazed Lemon Tart
  • Almond & Orange Florentines


The Afternoon will be focused on Patisserie, using the finest ingredients, giving the most exquisite taste. Patisserie is an indulgence to be enjoyed at any time of day. You will learn the art of short crust, sweet and choux pastry along with crème patisserie, glazing, piping, decorating and general patisserie techniques.

This is a hands on course that will provide the confidence to easily create a range of pastries and cakes at home.

All ingredients, equipment and recipes are provided by the school.

This course includes light refreshments and an informal lunch
