Your course starts with an introduction to Thai ingredients and the key flavours in Thai cooking – sweet, sour, salty, fragrant and flavoursome.

Thai food is founded on simple ingredients from fresh fish, chicken and vegetables, rice and aromatic herbs and spices.

Our Thai Cookery Course shows you how to use these ingredients to make a selection of delicious  dishes and reveals a rare insight into the secrets of Thai food.

Thai cooking is extremely flexible and although you will be given recipes, the emphasis is on understanding the ingredients and flavours and using your senses to make adjustments while you cook.

Classes are intended to be relaxed and fun, reflecting the Thai approach to life.

There is no need to have any previous cooking experience, just a love of food and a willingness to experiment.

Examples of dishes that may be included are:

  • Northern Thai Chicken Noodle Soup
  • Thai Fishcakes & Dipping Sauce
  • Prawn Thai Green Curry
  • Thai Beef Curry
  • Classic Fried Rice
  • Spring Rolls
  • Green Bean Salad
  • Tempura Vegetables
