Lambs, farm, family & behind the scenes

With Spring in the air and the cattle are enjoying their turnout time. All the cows and calves are being let out with the feel of fresh grass under their feet. We have now completed lambing 450 sheep to lamb around 900 lambs with just 6 to go and have almost finished calving our 50 cows and have just had twins. Jill has turned her attention to the lambing pens over the last few weeks and John has been working morning, noon and night to keep the sheep moving through the maternity unit. Its been a busy time going between cows and sheep. With the summer on its way even the children will be helping out with the feeding and are very excited by the arrival of 6 new chickens and look forward to be collecting all the eggs.

Bridge 67 Cookery SchoolBridge 67 Cookery School: Our Mission

To make cooking accessible to those with no skills and to inspire competent cooks. At Bridge Sixty Seven Cookery School we work with wholesome and natural ingredients and transform them into contemporary dishes.

We use only the best quality fresh food, supplying home grown beef and lamb fresh from the farm, whilst sourcing all other ingredients where possible from local suppliers. We passionately believe that ingredients should be as natural as possible.

The Farm PictureAbout the farm

The cookery school is located on an informal, relaxed, working family farm set in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside. You are welcome to have a tour of the farm during your visit if you wish. We produce the highest quality beef and lamb, through feeding our livestock on home grown forage and natural feeds.

Bridge Sixty Seven Cookery School provides the perfect setting for learning what food and cookery are really about. The kitchen and dining room overlook the farm where you can see sheep and cattle grazing.

As well as our Cookery Courses, we offer excellent Corporate Meeting Room facilities along with Bespoke Team Building days.”
